Andy Chee

Andy is third-generation Singaporean, having grown up in sunny Singapore. He has over 20 years of teaching experience, and started his teaching career from teaching kindergarten children in 1996. He holds a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Cambridge, and is experienced in people management and classroom assessment. He is currently working on the the DELTA course, and has completed Module 2.
From 2004 to 2012, Andy travelled around the world and worked in missions. In his travels, Andy has spoken to crowds of as large as a hundred, and he is considered an experienced orator. Since returning to Singapore, he has taught adults, children, and fresh university graduates, covering all levels of General English, as well as Business English courses.
In addition to teaching ESL, he has also had years of experience teaching children and teenagers in Academic English from the MOE syllabus in various settings such as relief-teaching in the local schools, child care centres, holiday programmes, and enrichment centres.
Andy enjoys studying psychology and learning other languages in his free time, and actively applies what he learns in his teaching methodology.
